(Nava’tano’kai)
Native to the hills of Nava’tano Vale, Glanvarian yaks are a proud and sturdy breed known for their thick fur, curved horns, and strong sense of terrain. Unlike other domesticated livestock, these animals are not bred or tamed easily—they form deep bonds only with those they trust, and will often choose to follow a farmer rather than be led by one. It is said that when the first settlers arrived in the Glanvaaria, it was the yaks who chose them. Since that day, yaks have been seen less as livestock and more as companions—each with its own temperament, preferences, and sense of honor.
Yaks are essential to life in the Glanvaria. Their milk is rich, their fur provides warmth through the long winters, and their companionship is often regarded as a sign of blessing from the gods. But not all yaks are created equal. Some graze quietly in the fields, content in their routines.
And then there is Hilda.
