Baked in honor of Eldoria, Goddess of Wisdom and Prosperity, this root vegetable pie is a traditional centerpiece for the start of Glanvaria’s growing season. Meant to nourish both body and purpose, it marks the turning of the soil and the beginning of the agricultural year.

Ingredients
- 1 package puff pastry or homemade pie crust
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 large carrots, diced
- 2 parsnips, diced
- 2 golden potatoes, diced
- 1 teaspoon dried sage
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon rosemary
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup vegetable broth
- 1/2 cup cream
- Egg wash (1 egg + 1 tablespoon water)

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, melt butter and sauté onion and garlic until fragrant.
- Add the root vegetables, herbs, salt, and pepper. Cook until softened (about 10 minutes).


- Stir in flour to coat the vegetables. Slowly add broth and cream, stirring until thickened.
- Roll out half of the puff pastry and place it in a pie dish. Pour in the filling.
- Use the remaining pastry to create a lattice pattern on top, symbolizing Eldoria’s woven wisdom. Brush with egg wash.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
